How Excellency Live, a trading name of Excellency Midlands Limited and/or Excellency Catering Limited, handles your personal data — what we collect, why, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are
Excellency Live is a trading name of Excellency Midlands Limited and/or Excellency Catering Limited, Stafford Park 6, Telford, TF3 3AT. For data protection purposes those companies are the data controller. You can reach us at info@excellencylive.com.
What we collect
- When you buy a ticket. Your name, email address, and the details of your order. This is collected by Ticket Tailor, our ticketing provider — not by this website. See “Ticketing and payments” below.
- When you contact us. Whatever you put in the message: your name, email address, phone number if you give one, and a booking reference if the enquiry is about an order. The form sends it through Web3Forms, which delivers it to our inbox and does not keep a copy.
- When you browse. Nothing that identifies you. We run no analytics and no tracking. See “Cookies” below.
We do not collect special category data, and we do not buy personal data from anyone else.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To fulfil your order — issuing tickets, admitting you on the night, handling refunds where they apply. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.
- To answer your enquiry. Lawful basis: legitimate interests, namely replying to someone who has contacted us.
- To tell you about upcoming shows, if you have asked us to. Lawful basis: consent. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations. Lawful basis: legal obligation.
Ticketing and payments
Tickets are sold and fulfilled by Ticket Tailor, and payments are processed by their payment providers, such as Stripe. Checkout happens on Ticket Tailor’s own systems.
Your card details are never sent to, stored by, or visible to this website. When you book on an event page here, the booking form is an embedded frame served directly by Ticket Tailor. What we receive back is the information we need to run the event: who is coming and what they bought. Revenue figures, order counts and payment methods held in our box office are never published to this website.
Cookies
We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other sites. There is no third-party tracker on this website.
- Our own. One record in your browser noting that you have seen the cookie notice, so we stop showing it. Nothing else, and it tells us nothing about you.
- Ticket Tailor’s. The booking form on an event page is served by Ticket Tailor, and it sets the cookies its checkout needs in order to work — keeping your basket, for one. These load with the booking form and are covered by their privacy policy.
Because nothing optional is set, there is nothing here to consent to. If we ever add analytics we will ask first, and nothing will load until you say yes.
Who else sees your data
- Ticket Tailor — ticketing and checkout.
- Our payment providers — processing the payment itself.
- Our hosting and email providers — running the site and carrying our email.
- Performers and promoters — only aggregate figures, such as how many tickets were sold. Never your personal details.
We do not sell your personal data, and we never will.
How long we keep it
- Order and ticketing records: six years, to meet UK accounting requirements.
- Enquiry emails: up to two years after the matter is closed.
- Marketing consent: until you withdraw it.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- correct it if it is wrong;
- delete it, where we have no continuing legal reason to keep it;
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- transfer it to another provider;
- withdraw consent you have given, at any time.
Email info@excellencylive.com and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Photography at events
We photograph and film our events for promotional and archival use, and by attending you consent to appearing in that material. If you would rather not, tell a member of staff when you arrive and we will keep you out of shot. You can also ask us to remove an existing image of you — email us and we will.
Children
Most of our evening shows are for adults, and age limits are stated on each event page. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us their data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data we will update this page and the date at the top of it. This policy was last updated on 11 October 2026.
